If you reside within the U.S. & Territories and receive this message, there may be an issue with your network that's preventing us from confirming your location. For legal reasons, we must confirm you reside within the U.S. & Territories to use the PBS KIDS Video app.
We recommend trying one of the below options if you continue to encounter this error message:
- Restart your streaming device. Use the power button on your streaming device to turn off the device for at least a few seconds, and then turn it back on. If you're using a device with a power cord, try unplugging the power cord from the outlet, waiting a few seconds, and then plugging it back in. Once the device finishes restarting, try opening the PBS KIDS Video app again.
- Restart your router or modem to reboot your network. Exit the PBS KIDS Video app on your device. Power off or unplug your router or modem, wait a few seconds, and then power it back on. Once your streaming device reconnects to your network, try opening the PBS KIDS Video app again.
- If you are connecting via a virtual private network (VPN), try disabling your VPN. Your VPN may be hiding your location or placing you in a location outside of the U.S. & Territories. Try connecting to your network without a VPN before attempting to open the PBS KIDS Video app again.
If the issue continues after trying the above and the error message persists longer than a few minutes, please contact us using the Submit a Ticket option at the bottom of this page.
