Check your Passport status

Passport Lookup Tool

Click the link above to open the Passport Lookup Tool and check on the status of your Passport membership benefit.

The Passport Lookup Tool can help you quickly find the status of your Passport membership benefit. Simply enter your membership email address you provided to your station when you became a member and click the Look Up My Account button to search for your Passport benefit.

If your entered email is found linked to a PBS station membership, you'll receive an email with one of four results:

1. Membership Status: Active

You have already activated your Passport benefit. Sign in with the email address next to Activation Email to view Passport videos. (Note: Your Activation Email may be a different email address than the membership email you originally entered into the tool.)

If an email address with a private relay domain is listed as your activation email, then this means you activated with an Apple ID account and elected to hide your real Apple ID email address from PBS and our servers. In this case, you will select the Apple sign in option and sign in with your normal Apple ID email address.


2. Membership Status: Unactivated

You have not yet activated your Passport benefit. Click the link provided in the email to activate your benefit.


3. Membership Status: Expired

Your Passport benefit has expired. If this is incorrect, and you are still a qualifying member with your local station, please contact them directly to inquire about your membership status with them and request they update the expiration date on your Passport benefit.


4. Membership Status: Disabled

Your Passport benefit has been disabled by your local station. Please contact them directly to inquire about your membership status with them and request they update the status on your Passport benefit.

If you do not receive an email response:

If you do not receive an email from us and it is not in your spam folder, then there is no Passport benefit in the system associated with the membership email address you searched for. 

Your station may not have set up a benefit for your membership yet, they may have set one up under a different membership email address, or they may not have a membership email address for you. Please contact them directly to inquire about your membership status with them and the status of your Passport benefit.
