Follow these steps to troubleshoot your PBS KIDS app.
- Relaunch the app: Sometimes, opening up the app again is all it takes. Try relaunching the app by navigating back to the app and opening it again.
- Restart your device: A device restart might be needed to ensure the app opens successfully. Please check your devices' instructions for specific steps on how to restart your device.
- Once your device is fully shut down, turn the device back on and then try restarting the app.
- Update your device: If the app is still not opening, you might need to update your devices' operating system. To update your operating system to the latest version, check your devices' instructions for specific steps.
- Update the PBS KIDS app: If app crashes have been reported as an issue, a new version of the app might be available that fixes the issue. To update your app:
- Navigate to your devices' app store (Google Play, Apple App Store, Amazon App Store).
- View your installed apps.
- Find the PBS KIDS Games or Video app and select the update option.

- Uninstall and reinstall the PBS KIDS app: If the app is crashing, uninstalling and reinstalling the app may help resolve your problem.
- Note: if you have downloaded videos and games, you will need to re-download them before you can watch or play.
