Video uploads of NewsHour are handled by the producers for the program.
Since their daily episodes are live tapings, they are not able to immediately upload the episode for online streaming after their program concludes its television broadcast. They must take time to prepare and upload the video for online streaming, which can take several hours.
They upload the video as soon as it's ready, and usually aim to upload the video around 12 AM EST following that day's broadcast, though the exact time could be earlier or later due to many different factors.
