I see a blue screen when I open the PBS app on my Apple TV.

If you see a solid blue screen when you open the PBS app on your Apple TV, your app may need to be updated or reinstalled.
If you have an Apple TV 4 model, we recommend you try offloading the PBS app from your device by following the steps below:
  1. Go to the Settings app on your Apple TV (the gear icon on the Home screen).
  2. Select General > Manage Storage > PBS.
  3. Select the Trash can icon next to PBS and a prompt to Delete the app will appear on your screen.
  4. Select the Offload option.
  5. The PBS app should disappear from your storage.
  6. Return to the home screen of the Apple TV.
  7. Select the PBS app. It will begin reinstallation.
  8. Once installation is complete, select the PBS app again.

If these steps do not work, we recommend deleting the PBS app full from the device and then installing it again. You can find instructions for how to do so by clicking here.
