How can I check to see if my Passport is activated on my Apple TV?

You can check the Passport status of the account you are currently signed into on your Apple TV from the Profile option in the left-hand navigation menu. Under the Change Station option, you will see tiles for the PBS station you are localized to or that currently have an active Passport benefit on your account. 

If the option says Become a Member, then you are not signed in with an active Passport account. If the option says Active, then you are signed in with a Passport account.

If the email address is correct, but Passport content is not playing, check your Passport activation information to confirm you are signing in with the correct account.

How do I access Passport on my Apple TV?

There is no designated section in the PBS app for Passport content. Instead, look for the Passport icon on the top left of episodes and videos of your favorite shows and programs to know which are currently available through Passport.

Can I watch my local PBS station's livestream through the Apple TV PBS app?

Yes, you can watch your local PBS station's livestream through the PBS app as long as you are in your station's service area.

Why is my Apple TV asking me for a passcode when trying to download the PBS app?

If you are being prompted for an Apple ID password, pin, or passcode when trying to download a new app to your device, then you have likely turned on a security feature either for your Apple ID account or your Apple TV. This is an Apple feature that will need to be turned off in the Apple settings on your Apple TV.
