How do I log into my Passport account on my Apple TV?

Once you have activated your PBS Passport membership benefit, the PBS Video app on your supported streaming device will update automatically to provide access to Passport videos on the app as long as you are signed in with the same account you linked to your benefit during activation. 

If you are signed in with a different account on the PBS Video app on your Apple TV, you can follow the steps below to switch accounts on the app.

The steps below will cover newer and older versions of Apple TV models.

When you have the PBS app open on your Apple TV, select Settings on the left side of the screen.

Once you have entered the Settings menu within the app, select Change Account and confirm you would like to sign out on the app.

Activation instructions are displayed on the screen along with a 7-character activation code.

On older Apple TV models, the Settings option can be found at the top of the app.

For older Apple TV models, select the Deactivate option located at the bottom of the screen.

Go to your computer and open a browser such as Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. Visit the website pbs.org/activate 

Enter your unique activation code in the text field provided.

Select Continue.

You will be prompted to sign in with a Google, Facebook, or PBS account. Select the same account you used to activate your Passport benefit. If you are not prompted to sign in with an account, you may already be signed in with an account from a previous visit with PBS. Visit the PBS Profile page to view your account or sign out.

Return to your Apple TV. It has been automatically updated and you can begin watching Passport videos.
