Passport is not optimized for smart TVs, though we do offer an app for smart TVs using the Android operating system. You can use an HDMI cord with your smart TV, however, for optimal viewing please one of the options listed below: 

  • via your desktop computer or laptop using the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer (see your local station website or PBS.org). 
  • on PBS Video iOS and Android apps for smartphones and tablets
  • Apple TV
  • Roku
  • Chromecast
  • Amazon Fire TV
  • Amazon Fire Stick
